For us, it's more than just sponsorship. It's proof of how close we are to sport and how strongly we support Polish athletes. Mini football is gaining popularity at a crazy pace, and our team is becoming an increasingly formidable rival on European and world pitches. We are even more excited to see the familiar faces of Robert's Port hotel team members Patryk Gondek and Bartosz Pieńczykowski wearing the white and red colours! Guys, your call-up is a big deal for us and confirmation that sporting passion is thriving here in Masuria.
At the helm of our national team is coach Rafał Ślubowski, ably assisted by Bartosz Przyborek. They are the ones who make sure our players are in top form. And the preparations were really intense! The team met for consultations and training camps in Warsaw, Katowice and even in the charming town of Ustronie Morskie, honing their tactics and teamwork. The real test before the championships was the prestigious Nations Cup tournament in Slovakia. Imagine four extremely demanding matches in just two days!
It was a real test of character and a demonstration of what our Eagles are capable of. Azerbaijan, the host of this year's competition, approached the organisation of the championships with great panache. They invested heavily in infrastructure development, building as many as 34 new mini-football pitches!
This shows how seriously they take this sport. There is no doubt that the tournament in Baku will not only be a sporting spectacle of the highest level, but will also give a huge boost to the development of mini football throughout the Caucasus region.
And now some great news for all fans in Poland! You don't have to travel all the way to Baku to experience the excitement (although you probably would like to!). All matches of our Polish national team will be broadcast LIVE on the popular website Meczyki.pl! That's right, you can sit back in your armchair and follow every move and every action of our boys. And if you want to be even closer, be sure to check out the Superliga6 fan page on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/superliga6. There you will find lots of photos, interviews and vlogs straight from the heart of the action!
Mr Robert Śliwiński, who is personally experiencing the excitement in Baku, had this to say about the involvement of Hotel Robert's Port:
"You know, sport is more than just a hobby for us at Hotel Robert's Port, it's part of our DNA. When the opportunity arose to support the Polish national mini-football team at the World Championships, I didn't think twice. It is a great honour and a lot of fun to be part of something so big. And the fact that we have our boys, Patryk and Bartek, on the team is a source of pride! It shows that our local passion for sport can take us really far. I'm here in Baku, I can feel the atmosphere and I believe in our team with all my heart. I know they will give their all, show their character and bring us a lot of joy. This tournament is a fantastic event for the whole world of mini football. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the boys and coach Ślubowski – gentlemen, bring us home the medals!"
The entire team at Hotel Robert's Port is keeping their fingers crossed for the Polish national team! We believe in your skills, your fighting spirit and that you will leave your hearts on the pitch. Good luck in Baku! Cheer with us – let them hear us all the way to the Caspian Sea! Go Poland!
